Clay and Fiber

I've recently been playing with clay quite a bit.  I don't know how long this will last, but for the meantime, I'm trying out some clay and fiber combinations.  The circle is about a foot across.  I used a variety of threads and fibers for the woven portion. 

If you have ever warped a circular loom before you know that two layers of threads form.   I decided to weave the back with a translucent ribbon.
